What types of appliances does The Appliance Man service?
We service nearly all makes and models of appliances. We can do both simple and complicated repairs for stoves, freezers, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers and refrigerators. Our skilled and trained technicians can also do annual maintenance services.
What are your days and hours of operation?
We operate 7 days a week. Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
We offer same-day and next-day service, because we understand that broken appliances aren’t only a huge inconvenience but also a safety hazard.
What modes of payment does your company accept?
You may pay through cash, cheque, or e-transfer. For your convenience, The Appliance Man also accepts payments through MasterCard and Visa.
Do you buy or sell appliances?
The Appliance Man doesn’t buy or sell appliances. We only do appliance repairs and maintenance, but we handle all major brands including Frigidaire, GE, Moffat, Kenmore and Whirlpool.
What cleaning methods do you recommend for appliances?
The proper way to clean differs according to appliance. For a refrigerator, vacuum the coils behind and beneath and use soapy water to clean the inside and outside of your fridge. Crud on your oven can come off with a little baking soda on a sponge or a commercial oven cleaner.
Is my appliance worth repairing?
The general rule of thumb is that if a repair will cost you more than half the price of a new appliance, perhaps it is time for a replacement. If not and if your appliance is still well within its life expectancy, calling on the service of our repairmen is the ideal choice.
